The England skipper's spinal operation puts him clear at the top of today's totals.

With less than 72 hours before someone checks the sashes on the transfer window the rumour mill is well and truly churning.

Micah Richards posts a very respectable 8pts with the specualtion that Chelsea will scrape £18 million together for his services. Maybe City should ask for a standing order to be set up to keep Chelsea's reserve team healthily stocked.

Newcastle supposedly aren't putting a £12 million bid for Peter Crouch - but of course these rumours have to come from somewhere.

Should be a busy couple of weeks ahead as fixtures start to come thick and fast and players start to pack their bags.

Everyone else may be packing up but rest assured i'll continue working over the festive period.

And be ready for all the transfer gossip set to accompany the new year, I've already heard that Neil Shipperley and a few teammates are being released - the Sheffield United Christmas party must have been fun this year.

Wishing all Fantasy Agents a spectacular Christmas and a bumper bung-filled New Year.

We have spent the last few days feverishly inspecting the under-side of Zen's bonnet and made a few modifications due to his new found generosity. The result is we've adjusted its scorometer and the points look a little more realistic. No harm has been done as we all benefited from its recent bounty.

Andrew Johnson tops the table this morning and he's falling over with excitement about it. He shares top spot with Didier Drogba who, as we all know, has never taken a dive in his entire career. Don't believe me? Ask Jose, he'll put you straight.

Things are a little quiet on the plains this week. Made more so by the postponement of the Liverpool v Arsenal Youth League Cup Quarter Final and the fact that Wycombe players are not eligible for our game. And neither, from next season, will Charlton players.

Zen's getting a bit generous coming up to Christmas - throwing the big points around like confetti - all to the usual suspects.

We've had a look under the bonnet and everything appears to be working ok. We'll take him in for an overhaul if he gets any more erratic. One possible explanation is the World Club Championship - it's almost certainly grabbing a lot of attention in the Far East but probably just of the sort which says: "Where are all the World's most famous players then?"

If you're one of the lucky ones to benefit from his generosity well done to you, keep quiet and hope no one notices.

In other news, Curbs as we so correctly predicted, has been installed as the new West Ham boss today - we'll have to see what this means .

Steve McClaren has also hinted that a call up for Joey Barton might be on the cards - so keep an eye on him.

Essien's wonder strike sees him topping the table for two days in a row, but all attention has really been on the goings on at Upton Park.

Pardew out, and Curbs desperate to get in. Don't be surprised if the new Icelandic owners go for someone they can do business with - hmmm, now let's think, are there any Scandanavian managers currently out there with time on their hands?

One thing's for sure there's bound to be a lot of speculation as to who stays and goes in the fast approaching January transfer windows. Expect a lot of points going towards the Argentine "Flop Idols".

Twenty points for the Roonster!! How the hell did that happen!! I have instructed our might computer ZEN to investigate. Needless to say the England superstar is top by a mile.

Best value is Emmanuel Adebayor. Five points today and for £75, a price you can afford. Asley Cole has returned to a bit of form in anticipation of the ho-down at the Bridge on Sunday.

It's Funds Day Friday so why not check your prices to see if anyone needs a sweetener.

Blow me down its race-horse owner and sometime footballer Robbie Fowler. Back with a brace and 8 FFA points to propel him to the top of our overnight table.

Second spot is shared by Thierry (I *heart* Arsene) Henry, Andriy (Found it) Shevchenko, Shaun (me too) Wright-Phillips and Cristiano (he’s a victim y’know) Ronaldo all on 7 points.

Jerzy Dudek has emerged from the mire this morning. Turns out he played in last night’s dead rubber with Galatasaray which ITV decided to show instead of the Barcelona v Werder match which everyone else was watching. I’d like to compare ITV4 and Sky Sports 2’s ratings last night to see if ITV missed a trick.

November’s Championship goes to QUIZKING for a third consecutive month. Clearly he is the Chelsea of FFA. Congratulations to you Sir and pull your fingers out the rest of you.

Returning to pitch-side matters, Carlos Tevez only has to hand in some half decent work for a change to shoot up our table. The Argentine is one point above that lovely man Craig Bellamy which in turn is equal with grumpy Thierry Henry and shot shy Louis Saha.

Keith Gillespie seems to be garnering points following some impressive displays for Sheffield United. I imagine he’ll be worth a touch more than £75 come Funds Day Friday.
