Who are yer?

Last week the big four could do no wrong as they cut a swath through the giants of Europe, just a few days later and we're all reminded that reputation really does count for nothing as Manchester United and Chelsea tumble out of the cup to Portsmouth and Barnsley respectively, and Arsenal are out-witted by Wigan.

Sadly for you lot, most of the stars of the weekend aren't in the roster for the game, being as they're mostly in the Championship, with the exception of the ubiquitous Cristiano Ronaldo. Ever the master of deflection, his manager Sir Alex Ferguson, made sure everyone knew how hard done by his star player was rather than how wasteful his team were in front of goal.

Fabio Capello will soon be naming his England squad to play France in two weeks time, the speculative amongst you might want to put some of those fringes players into your portfolios, as seasoned FFA campaigners know, even friendlies pile on the points.

TRANSFER TUESDAY: One player out of the game - Reading bench-warmer Leroy Lita's gone on loan to Charlton.
