A fantastic achievement for a newcomer to the game.No rest for wicked though as the new season starts and no doubt the return to form of the heavyweight players. The first day of scoring is on a Friday so that means values will change immediately. No easy settling in period this campaign - you'll have to hit the ground running. Little did I know the full consequence of throwing down a few rain-making shapes. Still, a long rainy Sunday was all I needed to give this place that much promised re vamp. Of course all of you who played in the Euro 2008 will be familiar with the new look. I hope you like it, I haven't had any complaints about it so far.The summer contest carries on a pace, now fueled entirely on transfer speculation (and the odd court case). Believe it or not though the season starts next week - for Aston Villa at least, as they start their campaign in the Intertoto Cup. Our season proper kicks off on August 1, but we still have the matter of the Summer competition to get through. Well done at ajheath for taking the spoils for June, it was a high scoring month if you managed to get a few Euro stars in your portfolio. AJ will be pressed to keep the lead to the end of July with a good showing from rob2183 and Onion Bag writer Dotmund. IMPORTANT The relegated players leave the tomorrow (8 July). So get your thinking caps on if they're in your portfolio - you'll have some gaps to fill. I'll also be loading up the new teams and players into Zen.
