How to play | Getting started | Keeping track | Creating a mini-league

I've just got rid of a player worth £225, but it's only given me £150 extra budget - why is that?
Releasing a player will only provide you with the amount of your weekly budget you allocate to him. If you only spend £150 a week on him then that's all your receive when you release him back.

Why do i miss out on a day's worth of points for swapping a player?
It's the only charge for making a substitution. Otherwise you could come on straight after final score, clear your squad and fill it with all the headline makers. This way rewards foresight (and good luck).

Who works out all the points?
Our computer Zen trawls through the web every night for about four hours. While most of us would probably find our way on to some obscure "gentlemen's interest" websites, Zen looks for the players on our list making the headlines in the past 24 hours, assigning a value to their media presense of 0-20 points.

What do I win?
At the moment nothing save the warm glow of victory. For now the game is a bit of fun on a site that is free of advertising. In time we hope to get some sponsorship. When that happens we'll pass on some of our karma on to you guys. Promise.

So what's the point of playing then?
Who needs money when you can get the satisfaction of vanquishing your peers.
