Fantasy football games usually require you to pick 11 players in their set positions and within a set budget - leaving you scrabbling about for a full back worth tuppence ha'penny so you can get the players you really want. With FFA you don't have to pick 11 players - you can have as many as you like. And if you just want goalkeepers - that's fine too. This game is based on coverage in the media - the more your player gets the more points he receives. The only restriction is you have to stay within your £1000 budget.

First off, you'll need to set up your account - all you need to do is make up a username and a password you'll remember and put it into our sign up form. We'll need your email address too - this will confirm your account and give us somewhere to send your details should you forget them. We won't pass these details on to anyone else.

The next step is to pick your players. Once you've logged in you'll see a tab marked "Your Clients" clicking on this gives you all the up to date info on your players. You'll start with no one, but you can soon change that by clicking the "Acquire New Players " link. You'll then see a full list of the currently available players and their associated values. To choose a player you want, simply click the "ACQUIRE" link and he's yours. If you decide you don't want that player, just head back to the "Your Clients" page and click "RELEASE".

When you acquire a new player they start earning points for you the day after next. So if you start on Monday, your first points will be on the board on Wednesday.
