Transfer Tuesday

Every Tuesday we look at the list of players and check to see if we're missing anyone or someone has to be taken off.

If a Premier League player has been making the news and he's not on the list, we'll add him. Also if a club makes a big signing introducing a new star player to the Premier League him be put on the list too.

Conversely, if a player moves away from the Premier League, he'll be removed from the list (and maybe your portfolio) on that day too. So if you have a player that gets snapped up by Real be sure to replace him come Tuesday.

The home page will carry the news of any comings and goings we may have so be sure to check to see if you're affected.

Funds Day Friday

Every Friday morning in the regular season (August to May), the FFA computer, Zen, recalculates the players values given their performance in the game over the previous seven days. If a player has done well their value will rise by £25, if they've done poorly it will drop by that amount. If they've done ok they'll stay the same.

The new values will be displayed on the "Player Stats" page and on your "Client information" page.

In the SUMMER MADNESS tournament (June and July), player prices remain static.

If a player's value changes you will get a chance to re-negotiate the deal you have. In the game sense if the player is worth more than you pay for him - well done - you're reaping the benefits of spotting talent early on. But watch out*.

If you're paying more than he's worth - renegotiate to the lower level to free up cash to spend on more media friendly talent.

*BEWARE! Should your player ever get to a stage where his value is either double or £100 more than what you actually pay for him, he will leave you. You've been warned.
